- As you see in the video above, some employers have work v. vacation policies. Others have have one Employee Time-Off Policy. Would it be better for King to have one “time off” policy (e.g., allowing a set number of days missed regardless of reason) instead of individual absenteeism, sick-days, vacation, short-term leave, long-term leave policies, FMLA, and other policies granting time away from work? Or should they implement something similar to the unlimited vacation time policy discussed above, or something else? Why? Support your response with research.
