First briefly outline your story including a summary of your story’s plot and characters. Then list and describe the two ways you use irony in your story (verbal irony and dramatic irony, or irony of situation and dramatic irony, etc). Have this part separate from the rough draft and final draft.
Then write a rough draft of your irony story with a exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. The short story must include character dialogue (only one or two characters will do). Once the rough draft is written you must revise with highlighted marks to indicate revision.
After the rough draft then continue to write the final draft. Also the final draft must have the two uses of irony highlighted/underlined. There is no particular length for this assignment but must have strong exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution or conclusion with a conflict involved.
All of this may be include in the same document but everything should be separated from each other.
